For the first time in France, Armineh Negahdari presents a new body of drawings as part of her first solo exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, within the Open Space programme.
Through an intuitive and deeply physical practice, the Iranian artist explores drawing as an experience and an immediate gesture. Created over the past few months, her works reveal an instinctive line, guided by intuition and hesitation, in which the hand precedes the idea, giving rise to images that are both powerful and fragile.
