The exhibition “A way of surviving, a way of life…” showcases the groundbreaking film practice of Zineb Sedira at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation. The exhibition features four of the artist’s films from different stages of her career: “Dreams Have No Titles” (2022), exhibited for the first time in the French pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale; ‘Mother Tongue’ (2002), a work exploring the complexities of language transmission within diasporic families; ‘Image Keepers’ (2010), a film retracing the life and work of Algerian photographer Mohamed Kouaci; and ‘mise-en-scène’ (2019), an homage to the anti-colonial films of Algeria in the 1960s.

ARTER provided design and production support for this exhibition.
