The exhibition “Êtes-vous triste?” dedicated to Sophie Calle at the Mrac Occitanie, borrows its title from a question raised by the artist at the end of the text “La Visite médicale”.
Throughout her work, Sophie Calle continues to tell us her stories in a precise and sober language, with an eye for the right word. Sometimes light and funny, sometimes serious, dramatic or cruel, these true stories, each accompanied by an image, deliver fragments of a life in a work in progress.
