Tabita Rezaire presents her film “Des/astres” (2004) on the occasion of her solo exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton as part of the Open Space program.

“Des/astres”, shot in the Amazon rainforest, is the final work in a trilogy about humanity’s links with the cosmos.

Tabita Rezaire has conceived the installation of her work as a “carbet planétarium”, traditional architecture in French Guiana, where viewers are invited to discover her film while reclining in hammocks hand-woven according to kali’na and lokono traditions.

Arter ensures the executive coordination and technical implementation of this exhibition.
