The chamber opera To Be Sung, composed by Pascal Dusapin, was performed at the Louis Vuitton Foundation Auditorium for two exceptional evenings, with original stage design by Pharrell Williams.

Created in 1994 based on a text inspired by American writer Gertrude Stein, this unique work features three sopranos and a narrator in a prose of pure imagination, enriched with instrumental and electroacoustic textures.

The opera brought together the voices of Elise Chauvin, Jenny Daviet and Norma Nahon, with Florence Darel as narrator, conducted by Maxime Pascal at the head of the ensemble Le Balcon.

VIVANTO helped coordinate the production of this lyrical moment, a highlight of Pascal Dusapin’s residency at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
