Arter produced the expedition Tara in Antarctica.

The Tara Expeditions project was ambitious because it was a collective artistic expedition for several weeks in Antarctica, starting from Ushuaia (southern Argentina), aboard a sailboat in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Video artist Pierre Huyghe then created a stage production, unveiled in the winter of 2006 in Central Park’s ice skating rink in New York.
