For the first time, Qatar takes part in the International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia, with the presentation of a powerful two-part exhibition by the upcoming Art Mill Museum, “Beyti Beytak. My Home is Your Home. La mia casa è la tua casa”.

Exploring how modern and contemporary architecture responds to the needs of communities while reimagining a sense of belonging, the exhibition features Yasmeen Lari’s Community Centre (2024), a bamboo structure rooted in sustainability, resilience, and the spirit of care, on the site of the future Qatar Pavilion in the historic Giardini, and a showcase at ACP–Palazzo Franchetti.

“Beyti Beytak. My home is your home. La mia casa è la tua casa” explores how forms of hospitality are embodied in the architecture and urban landscapes of the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA).
