First presented at the French Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022, « Dreams Have No Titles » is a major installation by Zineb Sedira that brings together cinema, archival material and personal memories. Drawing on the intertwined histories of France, Algeria and Italy, the work explores the role of cinema as a space for political engagement and collective memory, with references to the radical film cultures of the 1960s and 1970s. For its presentation at La Friche la Belle de Mai, the installation was reconfigured for the Panorama exhibition as part of the Saison Méditerranée.
